Selecting an Oil Filter for your Engine...


Full-Flow Oil Filter
If you wish to replace your existing engine full-flow filter, you must determine the oil pump flow rate for your engine. Consult  the engine dealer or manufacturer if uncertain. Select the proper filter by matching the flow rate with the Full-Flow Filter specification chart on the next page.  If uncertain, contact Western Filter Company for help in choosing the proper filter. Depending on the type of existing full-flow filter(s) your engine has, an adapter or alternate engine oil connection ports may be required to install the replacement Nelson/Winslow full-flow oil filter.

Bypass Oil Filter
If you wish to add a Nelson/Winslow bypass oil filter to your engine, use the chart below:
